2026: Moving Quietly, Living Fully

There’s something different about this year for me. It’s not louder, flashier, or more dramatic. I see it being calmer, more grounded, more intentional. 2026 feels like it will be a year of movement, without the need for announcements, explanations, or constant updates.(Except to my close friends of course)
For a long time, I believed that sharing plans made them real. That saying things out loud held me accountable. But life has taught me something gentler and truer: sometimes, when we tell people too much, things don’t happen at all. Not because others mean harm, but because energy shifts, opinions creep in, and intentions, ours and theirs quietly lose their shape.
This year, I’m choosing a different way. Less talk, more action, less planning in public, more quiet momentum. Just showing up and then, bam, doing the thing.
Running has become a metaphor for that. Training for a Marathon isn’t about proving anything to anyone. It’s about rhythm, discipline, and trusting the process. One foot in front of the other. Early mornings. Tired legs. Clear mind. No shortcuts. No applause needed. Just progress that adds up over time.
Motherhood continues to be my greatest teacher. Parenting isn’t about perfection, it’s about presence. it's about growing alongside my sons, learning when to guide, when to step back, and when to simply be there. This year holds space for shared adventures, laughter, and memories that don’t need documenting to be meaningful. Time together is the real luxury.
Friendships feel deeper when they’re not performed. I’m grateful for the people who walk beside me without competition, comparison, or noise. The ones who understand that growth doesn’t always look the same for everyone, and that celebrating someone else’s movement doesn’t take away from your own.
Love, in all its forms, feels more expansive this year. Romantic love, self-love, familial love, and the love that shows up as respect, boundaries, and honesty. Relationships thrive when they’re protected from outside interference, when they’re nurtured quietly, intentionally, and with care.
Travel will mark the year in meaningful ways. Time away alone to reset and reconnect with myself. Trips with friends filled with ease, laughter, and late conversations, and holidays with my son, seeing places through his eyes, moving at his pace, creating moments that will stay long after the bags are unpacked.
I’m also stepping back from social media, from unnecessary opinions, from negativity that doesn’t deserve my energy. Not everything needs a response. Not everyone needs access. Silence can be powerful, especially when it protects your peace.
The truth is, not everyone wants you to win, even when they smile at you. Envy doesn’t always come from hate; sometimes it comes from longing. From wishing they could move the way you do, choose the way you do, or believe in themselves the way you’ve learned to believe in you. That “red eye” energy is subtle, but real, and it’s another reason to move quietly.
This year isn’t about setting loud goals or declaring intentions for validation. It’s about alignment. It's about doing the work without broadcasting it. About letting results speak in their own time.
2026 is about becoming not announcing.
About achieving without explaining.
About living without permission.
And when the milestones arrive, they won’t need introductions, they’ll just… be.
